Low phone memory

My Droid original has twice displayed the LOW MEMORY warning.
The first time I just deleted some apps, now I'm running out of apps to delete.
How do I move some apps to the SD and is that a good idea?
If so which apps are better to move...and HOW do I do it?

download app 2 SD it will tell you what apps you can move to SD card and makes it easy to do so

Even after moving your apps to your SD card you can still get this message. You might check how many text/picture messages you have. The picture messages seem to save on your phones memory.
