I'm running my D3 right out of the box and I am only getting benchmarks in quadrant standard of 2251. The ones I'd seen beforehand were in the 3k+ range. Anyone seeing anything like this? I am considering sending this back and waiting, and giving up my beloved keyboard
People really need to get over their beloved quadrant scores. As many have said before quadrant scores mean nothing of the performance of your device. I am sure once developers get this thing situated it will improve the all important quadrant scores until then if you are happy with the phone then ignore all those benchmarks.

Sending it back because of benchmarks? I want decent benchmarks as much as the next guy, but surely you care more about the actual day-to-day performance?
I agree. My D3 is flying with actual use. I got the extended battery as well. Once the developers get a hold of the D3 it is going to be get even better. Benchmarks mean nothing.
Can someone try linpack? It is a good indicator of CPU power...I'm just curious how it stacks up vs the dx2...be sure to do both single thread and multithread (specifically designed for multi-core)
This thing is great so far, don't get me wrong. I am loving this thing even as I get used to the new keyboard layout. I was just worried there was something wrong with my device

Quadrant scores can be manipulated and I believe the test phones released had unlocked bootloaders so those scores were probably due to rooting and a little Modding

Just ran it, & I got a 2084. But when you look @ the spec section it tells you that it only has 1 core, so that score might be incorrect. 2084 is still faster than the Nexus that they had on there.
