Lovin' this ROM - question about VW Label and freezing

When I have a rom like this one, can I remove/freeze the stock browser as I only like to use Dolphin HD?

Also, is there any easy way to Change the VERIZON WIRELESS logo that shows up on the pull down status screen? I did it when I was on Apex but it took a download of 2 apps on my desktop and some fun terminal services work but I'm lazy what can I say .

Can I freeze the Backup Assistant (I show two in Bloat Freezer)

also I have two GMAIL's showing up in the list anyone else have this?
I also have two maps, two markets as well.

You can remove the stock browser. Changing the drop-down text requires the long method. Yes you can stop the backup assistant if you dont want to use it.

And if you have multiples of the same apps, you did something wrong. Did you install a theme or something that is not compatible?

I did a wipe and install....no theme I don't think it is needed

I did not see this on gummyjar install or liberty but may have on apex cant remember

When I log into Bloat Freezer I have two of the following showing only:
Car Home
Gmail
Maps
Market
The duplicates do not show up in Task Manager, Running Services, or ALL APPLICATIONS

Then its the bloat freezer app. I have never used it, dont think its necessary...I just remove any bloatware I dont want.

Thank you very much for the quick reply! I enjoy reading tons of threads and have gone from an ex-blackberry user to an android addict because of it and help from people like you so thanks!

I think I will just see what happens for a day or two with the apps frozen then delete if not using and I see no ill effects - thanks again!
