LOVE LOVE LOVE one problem here

One google search (Goverment Powered style) and they know all.

I guess they know all anyone look into Carnivore. I dont really care as I am not doing anything wrong but I do have to bite the bullet a little and put it to the back of my mind but its still hard to do.

Just hope nothing goes haywire with our data :icon_eek:

Hon, Google has had our data for a long time now. Nothing new.

Their motto is first do no evil. While they are not a perfect company, they regularly provide options for opting out of data sharing with them and their clients.

They have also consistently fought to keep their user's information private from the gov't.

I'd put my faith in Google before I would in many other companies. But I am sure that was their plan all a long :) At least that is what my Droid tells me...

I hear you but the only way google became google is they ARE THE GOV!

Ask Nasa they just gave them a runway so the boys can land their jets.

I do a lot of online buying. I pay attention to the lock icon onscreen before I send anything that could hurt me. DESPITE THAT, my personal information, including my credit card data, was compromised on one transaction.

My point is, no matter where you put your trust, Google, or otherwise, might result in a nasty surprise. There are no iron-clad guarantees.

It is for that reason I refuse to send my stuff to Google. If nothing surfaces WRT syncing my MS Outlook stuff with my Droid without first having to run it through the Google empire, I'll just have to forego it.

Oh, and BTW - "Google = Govt" is frivolous.
