But the stock player should play most formats as long as they are not DRM protected. AVI files need a different player, as do some other formats.

T Technoman Member Feb 27, 2011 #5 Well, it is not an APP that has an icon in the launcher tray. Easiest way to utilize is to install Astro file manager from the market, and then just click the particular file you are trying to play.
