Lost network connection problem

Will rooting and installing a ROM fix the known issue of losing network connection with the Bionic. I dont really want to wait for the OTA update for the fix in November unless I have to.

Unfortunately, I still it rooted & stock, also got it with TH3ORY's ROM.

Getting the people at the Verizon store to update your PRL Version # or the TH3ORY's ROM seems to fix this issue. The rom probably just updates it for you.

Not sure if this fixed my problem, but I turned on Data Roaming, and instead of shutting it down when 3g was lost, it would give me 1x, then back to 3g when back again, before it would loose 3g, and then loose data completely and not come back unless I reset phone, or sometimes airplane mode would help. I did this yesterday and usually lost data once a day, and haven't lost it today, but will see over the next few days if it has helped.
