Bionic as a wireless network adapter

A shot in the dark:

Is there a way to take the Bionic and install it to a system so it acts/works like a wireless network adapter? I want to use it for internet connection sharing.

Are we talking hotpsot here? That's the best route for sharing your internet to other devices with wireless capabilities.
If you don't have teh HotSpot service activated and not rooted, use FoxFi from the Play store. It is free and works great for non-rooted Bionics. If you are on the new share everything plan, the OEM hotspot app is active for you to use.

From the sound of it, he wants to use the phone as a wireless repeater on a LAN (I could be wrong). If that is the case, I haven't heard anything about that.

I suppose you could use a router set up as a repeater to receive the hotspot from the phone and connect your other LAN devices that way. Flashing a router with a dd-wrt firmware would be my suggestion.
