Lost Microphone

I noticed that after the bloody upgrade I seem to have lost the ability to use the voice command / microphone that USED to show up on the keyboard in the lower left-center. What happened to the little microphone and is there anyway to get it back. I ask not so much for myself but my wife, who actually uses the darn feature far more than i do. But there are still a few applications that I'd like to use it in.

That got it. Damn, I need to spend more time cruising the back alleys of my phone. Haven't taken the time to do that and I really, really NEED to.
