Lost contacts shortcut

So I turn my new droid on this morning and the shortcut at the top of the screen with all my favorite contacts is gone (you know...the one that shows 3 pix and if you drag it down it opens a grid of your favorite contacts).

I can't figure out how to get it back. I checked widgets and nothing there...Then I tried to add a shortcut to contacts but that adds individual shortcuts.

Anyone know what this is called?

Hi..im new to the board. I was just wondering what you did to get the favorite shortcut back? Im not sure how mine was deleted. I was taking off my Otterbox case and somehow it got removed.

You long press the screen you want it to be on, and click widgets, then scroll down till you can click on Quick Contacts.
