losing saved texts please help

I have had a Motorola Droid for about 5 months... have a problem where my messenger app whiles out my texts... just erases them for no reason. Have replaced my pqhone 3 times... and it keeps happening...

guys its a reported problem with no fix...

but for the future, try SMS backup (free on market) - syncs with your gmail acct and puts them all on there

I need to know how to save a text and how to save a pic sent in a text.
