SMS force closing! I can't take it anymore!!!!

This "Incredible" phone keeps erasing my texts! I seriously can't ignore it anymore! I've had total pos phones that NEVER lost texts, I could keep them for years. What gives??

Force close...then boom! ALL TEXTS GONE!

I use Handcent, could this be the problem?

I've used handcent on both the Droid and th DI and never had texts erased.....

SMS/MMS Force Close

My Droid Incredible is also doing a force close on texts and then erases them. I have had problems with several other programs doing this and causing a force close - including the phone. I AM not sure what is causing this. Help please!!!

Well, I don't specifically know about Handcent, but a common fix for force closes is to 1) clear cache and 2) uninstall and reinstall.

well i read in other forums that antivirus and some atk's cause the force closing and deleting them will cure ur fone of force closes. also i was somewhat skeptical about deleting the antivirus, it has been said that DROIDS DONT NEED ANTIVIRUS. sooo i was like wat the hell ill try it and no problems since but im not too familiar with handcent but try this and see what happens
