I saw that Google Talk 1.3 is out and wanted to try it on my Droid Pro. Bad mistake. Not only did I not read that it requires Gingerbread 2.3, I did not heed the warnings Titanium Backup gave me about removing system apps.
I created a backup with TB, but it won't restore. I searched for talk.apk and found it for the xperia devices, but it won't install. I took the apk from my original Droid but it gives me an error about being unable to parse the package. I think because it's for HDPI devices.
Long story short, can someone please post talk.apk from /system/app ? I'm hoping I can just paste it into /system/app with root explorer, reboot, and be fine. I'm hoping.▼
