looking for continuous notification ringtone for messaging or emails

I got rid of my pager. I now get pages as text messages sent to my droid. Sometimes I miss the txt notification so I am looking for a txt or email ringtone that is continuous and doesnt stop until it is silenced manually, or that stops after a specified length of time (say 1 minute), much like the alarm clock notification that needs to be manually stopped. If I could have that notofocation option for txt messaging or email and select it for a specific contact I would be a happier droider.

Anybody have a suggestion?

Download handcent. You can set the notification vibrate to any custom way you want, so if you want you could have it vibrate for as long as you need too. It also has a reminder option that will vibrate your phone every 1,2,5,10,20 minutes until you check the message. remember to turn off notifications in the stock messaging app, get's annoying to leave it on when using handcent.

Or set your Notification sound to something long and dragged out and then you wont miss it
