Looking for a specific app...

I am looking for an app that allows you to record the route you've driven so that it can be used later for navigation. My mom is going out of town with a friend and wants to be able to record the route and use it later to drive there on her own. It's a lake they're going to so I'm not sure if there would be a physical address she could use in Google maps for GPS. Does such a thing exist? I know there are apps like mapmywalk and such but that just records the route is all. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm fairly cerain you can do that using Waze. You can save locations based on where you happen to be then go back.
