Looking for a GOOD calendar program that has alarms for appointments?

I'm basically looking for a Calendar that allows me to set an alarm to remind me of the appointment, say 3 hours, prior to the official time of my scheduled appointment. I'm currently using Jorte and put in a "1 hour ago" reminder for my dental this morning, erroneously thinking that it would ring 1 hour prior, and it didn't do squat so I'm about to ditch this.

Any recommendations would be great appreciated.

I use the stock (well, aosp..... stock google atleast) one. It doesnt ring, but instead makes a loud sound. Make sure the phone isn't on vibrate and that you have system sounds turned up.

Alright, I'm going to run a test and turn my Vibrate off and my sound to MAX and see if it really works.

K fixed it, had to go into Jorte and set it to "Alert" for notifications.

ive used jorte since the day i got my droid .. hasnt failed me yet .. love it!
