While the update is not officially rolling out yet it looks like 5.0 is either in testing or in a super soft ota pre rollout. Droid-Life has confirmed at least two handsets are running the update in the wild as software version number VS98523A and Android build number LRX21Y, and Android version 5.0.1. The update was apparently first reported in a Verizon support forum. A customer was asking about an sms bug that they were experiencing. When asked about their version info they reported the Lollipop info and then never heard back from the agent. Another user reported that he received the update after receiving a replacement LG G3. He turned on the device and it immediately began accepting the OTA update. The update was 717mb. It may take several weeks for this update to be official. In the meantime you should be able to find a rom or two if you need some Lollipop now on your LG G3.
