Locating via GPS

When I had the driod 1 and I opened the map program or used thr navigation it found the gps right away. Now it takes a really long time or does not find it at all. Anyone else have this problem? If not if I call will they send me a new phone?

Now it is hit or miss. Kind of annoying.

Could be a couple different reasons including weather and signal strength. Are you using the actual gps or are you running it through cell towers for location?

No I have use gps satellites and enable assited gps checked. I want to use the satlellites ot get pin point accuracy.

Maybe try and disable assisted gps and see how that goes. I've found really don't need the assist since your still bouncing a couple of diff satellites anyways.

Basically, under certain conditions supposed to make satellite fix faster. Not so much sometimes. Read somewhere else someone claims their phone ran pretty hot using it.
