live weather wallpaper not showing weather

i enabled both traffic and weather on my live google map wallpaper.
i see live traffic but weather is not showing up?
running droid x on froyo.

also, is there a way to set the live map to a specific locatin and zoom perspective? it just defaults to my current location.

don't expect to see actual weather. Yesterday we had a ton of rain on the east coast and I just saw dark clouds moving from NW to SE the whole time. So, it doesn't show weather at a point, or something like that, but rather a general animation depicting the type of weather at your current location it seems

plus it just might put a strain drain on your battery, unless you have one of THOSE batteries

the weather is showing on mine but only on the far left home screen of the seven screens
