linux and its many forms

ok so im guessing most of you use some form of linux, and i want to start using it, im getting bored of windows lol. im using ubuntu right now. just wondering what some of the other popular ones are and what everyones opinions on them are.

you should check out OpenSUSE and Ultimate Edition. Those are two that i have used the most besides ubuntu.

I have used alot over the years: Xandros, Open SUSE, Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, CentOS, Slackware, probably some others I forgot about.

Xandros was not good last time I tried it. Ubuntu, OpenSUSE are 2 I always go back to. PCLinuxOS was good too. I never tried Ultimate Edition..might have to give that a spin soon.

im going to take openSuse for a spin and see how i like it compared to Ubuntu, thanks for the input guys
