Life without an app drawer

I like the no app drawer and I don't use folders, they are annoying to me how they stay open until you hit back or X it

I'm pretty sure that you can't select in settings to have the folder close after you pick an app.

OP, like you, when I first installed MIUI and noticed the absence of an app drawer I thought , OK! Like others, I created folders then decide what-the-heck and reinstalled then reordered my apps by "frequency/use" priority. I ended up with 5 screens but it worked. Currently, I have a different rom installed but I keep reading the "what does your MIUI look like" thread which keeps pressuring me to reinstall MIUI.
