LOL I knew that would get some peoples attention. 
Glad I found these forums. I had an LG Dare for the last 2 years before it took a crap. (the charging input quit)(broken circuit board)
That happened 2 days after my NE2 was up with Verizon. (mid July) Had to reactivate the ol'standby (VX-8300) as the new D2 wasn't out yet..
When it came out I went to the Verizon store and played with both the D2 and the DX for an hour and a half at least.
To make a long story short I choose to take screen size over tactile keyboard as I'm more of a "surfer" than a "texter".
Ordered the DX on line for $134.99 w/2 yr on 8/16/10 (10% "chat coupon" on $149.00)
What a nightmare the last 3 weeks or so have been living in "clam shell land".
Heading over to the X forum to see if there's any word on internet shipments.
Can't wait to check out the wallpapers and such!
