I accidentally dragged the clock/date with the "weather" off the homescreen...how do I get it back??

Long press on the home screen, a pop up should show up. select widgets... not sure which one it is on that particular device, but it should be listed in there.

I have a similar yet opposite problem - how do I REMOVE widgets/applications from a home screen (I'm not talking about the Verizon-installed apps, I know I need to root to accomplish that).

Long press the item on the homescreen and a trash can should appear at the bottom of the screen. Drag the item to it and when the item and the trash can are both red, let go. This doesn't uninstall (unless you have certain launchers or roms).

Yeah, yeah.. I'm on my phone. So?
