Who knew a commercial could give you nightmares? When I was just a young lad, I remember seeing the original Jaws in the movie theater. It was my first horror movie and it scared me so much, I was convinced the shark would come up out of my carpet and get me while I was sleeping. Needless to say, I didn't sleep too well that night.

I'm pretty sure I just watched something that will haunt me in ways that Jaws never could. LG just succeeded at making the most horrible and disturbing commercial I have ever witnessed. In fact, if I could "unwatch" it I would gladly do so, which makes it all the more funny when I share it with you!

Whatever you do, don't watch it! No really! I warned you! :icon_eek::blink::icon_ devil:

[Editor's personal note: please consider this a practical joke story and feel free to share it with your friends!]

Definitely hi on the creepy scale. Probably a 10 out of 10.

Definitely can relate to the Jaws story. After seeing it, I remember crawling into the front seat of our family van, and sitting, curled up in a ball, on the floor, the whole ride home! That my parents took me to see it when I was like 8 would probably now be considered some type of child abuse. ;)

Ummm....yup. That was definitely the most disturbing thing I've seen in the Android community in pretty much ever. But they will succeed on their mission for it to go viral.

The beard is a deal breaker for me on this phone, I'm hoping the female version hits Verizon. Probably won't though, we'll get stuck with the bearded version. Verizon's phone line-up is always sub par compared to the other carriers

ROFL! There are a number of comments that come to mind which are sparked from yours, but they are all inappropriate in this forum. :D

I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre at around the same age, and I agree, this commercial is just as creepy, and that back then was just a child abusey.:D

Ok yes the commercial was ubber creepy Scoob!! but tell me this.... Why Would I want a curved phone? what does that do for me? I really cant figure it out.

Am I the only one whose first thought was: "Why is the mouth on the bottom and the ear on top? Shouldn't the mouth be on top and the ear on the bottom so when you put it up to your head you are speaking into the ear and not the mouth? That seems like a major design flaw."
Engineering has destroyed my thought process.

If we have learned anything from Apple, it is that it's up to the companies to tell the consumer what they want, than the other way around.

Ah darn...I have to bite my tongue? I seriously thought that using the words "bearded" and and "lady" in the same sentence would be tolerated...
