LG Confirms Optimus 2X Will Receive ICS Update; Refutes Their Own Rumors

Previously, LG themselves were circulating rumors that the LG Optimus 2X would not be receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich update when it becomes available next year. Interestingly, the post above from LG's own Facebook page refutes these rumors and confirms that the LG Optimus 2X will indeed be getting ICS. They didn't give any time-frame, but instead hinted that "detailed information" will be announced.

They better consider the LG Revolution a high end smartphone, I'll be pissed if we miss out on ICS fun.
