IFA 2017 happens in just a few months and it appears that LG will indeed be launching the V30 at the event. LG has started to send out press invites for a launch event that will take place August 31st at 9:00AM CET in Berlin, Germany at the maritim Hotel. The Press invites do not specifically mention the V30, but I can't think of any other device that would merit it's own IFA event from LG. The device is expected to do away with the popular secondary display for a more G6 like design. It will have a 6" display, dual camera, Snapdragon 835, 6GB of RAM, and wireless charging. It looks like another great V series device from LG, but will any of you decide to skip this one if it is indeed lacking the secondary display? What makes the V30 stand out with this second display?

It's worth it for "proof", I suppose...but not worth it for "resistant". That's what sets text you apart, LG. Blew it there with the G6, imo.
I still can't believe only Sony has truly made a phone ...years ago...that you could swim with.

I take my G6 in the shower and I've put it inside a cup and bowl of water to test... I'm sure it could survive swimming they just don't want to take a chance by saying it can be taken swimming. better safe than sorry.
