LG Ally Downloads

I downloaded a few apps onto my LG Ally droid. They are completely installed. But now, the icon that refers to 'downloading application' is still there.
I have tried to restart my phone, and they still appear.
Is there a way to delete these icons? Or can I see if anything is still downloading for some reason?

drag down the notification bar and it will show you all of the applications that you have downloaded. You just have to click on each one of them individually and then just hit the home button and keep going through them like that and they will all go away. I had the same problem and think that it is the only way that they can go away.
