Lets petition to get UD or CM to make a mod for us!

I am tempted sometimes to boot up my D1 to get the Ultimate Droid UI back.

I think they would need a Droid 2 Global first to be able to make a ROM for us, and I dont think they do.

CM is not making a rom because of the locked bootloader. They need their own kernels to make it work and you can not modify the kernel with the bootloader being locked.

Isnt the Droid X and Droid 2 in the same camp as this phone with a locked bootloader?

Milestone got quite decent CM6 mod thanks to kabaldan@XDA despite the locked bootloader (restriction to use stock kernel). So hope is not all lost, but chances are really very slim.

I love UD so much almost bricked my phone trying the last D2 2.5 rom it worked but no signal come on BlackDroid show us some love.

I've been told the kernel on CM 6.1 is actually bone stock, but that's beside the point -- you want the ROM ported? Either buy them a dev phone or learn to code and join the team.

Then learn to build them. These devs work VERY hard to do what they do (for free) so they'll be out when they're out. Waiting sucks but, it ALWAYS worth it!

Just be reassured in the fact they are still being worked on. Be patient.
