Reading a story earlier on BGR about the efforts ios is taking to get closer to preventing jailbreak and use of apps outside the app store it made me wonder. Would people who love the iphone but can no longer mod anything outside the app store decide o go nexus?
Is this move by apple a good move in the long run?
As of right now I am going to assume that article is stlll in development as ios 6 is not even out yet so things can surely change by then.
Personally the selling factor me with android is the fact I can mod my device. This is why the nexus appeals to me, but the reality is just like with android, the people effected by the move to stop root/jailbreak are the small (but loud) percent. As the average use can care less about jailbreak.
The article I am referring to (iOS 6 blocks jailbreak, breaks Cydia).
