LauncherPro on DX

Not really a launcher pro fan on the X. Was on the droid but not on the X. You loose the ability to use motorla widgets...and it takes a bit longer for the widget selection screen to come up...I do like the 3d launcher though.

has anyone tried to add an extra line of apps on to the homescreens like you can do on the moto droid?

It works and still doesn't look good.

I didnt lose the motorola widgets, I did lose the ability to resize on launcherpro.

You long press on the widget and you can change the size of it.

uninstall launcher pro

I installed it and played with it a bit and decided i like the option of being able to resize my widgets, but how do i unistall the launcher pro, i looked under apps and its not listed i also looked under the menu and dont see it, can anyone tell me how to unistall it? Thanks

It should be under apps. If not, make sure all filters are off.

Launcher Pro working amazing here! What am improvement!!! And this is coming from an EX-Incredible user! I'm loving this phone. I hope root pops up at least to get rid of the crap that comes on it.

overall its solid on the DX. The resizing issue (of the so-so at best motorola widgets) doesnt work. Also, I had to turn down the speed of the screen preview setup from 10 to 7 or 8 otherwise it would just open and close quickly. The droid I have will support it all the way up at 10 (not a big issue at all btw, it still opens plenty quickly)

I have a question, i want to be able to switch between launcher pro and the stock one. I have the home switcher app but launcher pro always come up when hitting the home button even when the stock one is set to be the default. Any ideas what might be going on? Would really like to try out both to see which one i like more

If Launcher Pro's defaults are wiped and it still doesn't ask which home you would like to use, try uninstalling the home switcher and trying again.

Love the launcher pro on the DX. coming from original droid. HATE whatever the *&%$ motorola put on teh DX called software.

downside to LP, however, is that i need a calendar widget, and on LP, the default calendar widget doesnt update itself. It just shows the same three events that it loaded with, and never changes unless i delete and re-add the widget.

how do i get the default google widget back? or is there a better calendar widget to use with LP?
