So, how do you stop the email messages regarding new posts in the threads? I like the notifications regarding the threads. I just don't need the emails. I've gone into TT settings and unchecked everything in the email settings.

Open the email and scroll to the bottom. There are two links 1) Disable email from this thread and 2) Disable email from all threads.

Click the appropriate link based on your decision and let it open with your Browser and then click the Update Subscription button.
