Carlos Sanchez (who portrayed Juan Valdez in commercials for the National Federation of Coffee Growers in Columbia) passed away in 2006. The commercials date back to 1958. Carlos actually was a coffee farmer, turned artist, who was in one movie "Bruce Almighty." How about that. RIP Carlos.

the wind has died down here and all the leaves from my neighbors are in my yard. what a mess, where are the neighborhood kids wanting to rake yards this year...that would be a win if one came by.

Good evening folks. Hope everyone had a wonderful National Microwave Oven Day. Cousin Eddie would call that a win, as he said "Every time Catherine would rev up the microwave, I'd pee my pants and forget who I was for about half an hour". [emoji106][emoji3]
