Good luck to you @lloydstrans. Just don't have too much coffee. You don't want a shaky bow! I'm going out to shovel 6" of snow covered with ice on my deck so my boys can do their thing. I already had my coffee (not popsicles until this evening when we get a temp of -5 with wind-chill much lower. ) Thank God we have a generator and all the trees are staying up so far. I'm just hoping that doesn't change. It wouldn't help to have a generator if a tree falls thru the roof. So, think good thoughts and safe weekend to the rest of the folks in the snow/ice belt with me (kmf1) The rest of you enjoy the final day (or two) of the weekend. Be well [emoji3]

Gorgeous day. Well i shot 47 less than perfect, 877 out of 924. Third place was 899. So I'm hoping for a top ten win. If I didn't miss a target altogether, twice, might of had a top 5. Heck, the river was bone dry already. Usually it takes a week after a rain for it to dry up.

It would be fun to see your bow, and what the target range, targets, looks like.

This is my target bow. The gold/red/blue/black/white are indoor targets and the black and white targets are outdoor targets, basically. The targets range in size from 20cm to 10ft depending on how far they are away. (Visually they remain the same size) 20cm at 10 yards, 40cm at 20yds, 80cm at 50, 160cm at 100, 320cm at 180yds. The big target lays on the ground and you can't see it, aim for the flag pole behind it.

Neato, did you actually take this? Or is this one of those NASA fakery photos? I was robbed, just as the shadow started to do its thing a giant cloud started an eclipse of the eclipse. At totality not a peep of light was coming through. Now I'm off to see if this is possible in a flat earth scenario.

Yes, I did. In spite of the below zero temperatures, I had success. It was taken with my Canon EOS 5D, with EF 100-400 lens@400. ISO 1600. f/5.6. 1/4 shutter
Thanks!

Ooh, nice. Nice Camera. I've got an itch for a FD 85-300mm SSC lens for my A-1. But I'll adapt it to a Eos Rebel T6. Been eyeing a couple on eBay. Locally there is a 600mm but $800 for an antique lens isn't justifiable to me. Rather spend that money on a EF lens.
