Cash is still king in my book. Utilities, insurance, taxes and monthly part bills get checks. Other than the parts I buy everything gets paid months in advanced or yearly. What's a debit card? 
Never use one unless it says Wells Fargo on the building. And all the auto-pay horror stories I've heard quashes that scenario.
