It's still a little strange to see my future father-in-law at work. His electric company won the bid for our new addition so he stops by my office once in a while when he's in checking on his guys.

It's been happening for a while & I actually had to go over to his shop the other day to see if they had a faceplate I needed, but it's always strange.

The only time I ever talked to him without her around previously was when we were all together for something & she left the room for a minute. Haha

True. And with the location of my office, it's easy to sneak up on me. He did actually have a legit question about the cabling for my network in the new section where it'll meet up with the rest of the network, but that's actually the first time he had anything business-related to discuss.

Not that I mind that he stops for a quick social chat, because I'd definitely like to keep up the good relationship we have, but still awkward.
