Oh the Blue Angels, yep they're awesome, they practiced for years out in the California desert, we had many a show to ourselves, what a team they are. Don't know if they still train out there though...
Every year here at Miramar, former top gun, we have a big air show, they are here a few days prior getting used to the topography.
As far as my experience, I believe they train or used to train in the SoCal desert in winter and early spring, when it's not the best weather elsewhere.

They were here in VA Beach yesterday practicing...my boys and I watched them from the driveway. I got a few neat video clips.[emoji106] [emoji6]

That's great for them.
Growing up in San Diego with Top Gun was great. And even today the Marine Air group is fun to watch.
