I'm trying to decide if I can download a 2.07 GB file for BF3. My other option is to setup the Xbox, a laptop and a TV in the backseat of my truck and go to my college or McDonalds and use their internet.
Yessir. I usually use about 8 gigs a month depending on how much Netflix I watch, but the funny thing is that I actually used more when I didn't tether.
Hmm while tethering I've downloaded a 10 gb file before (world of warcraft)... It took FOREVER though lol
Most data I've used in one month was about 50 Gb... My wifi wasn't working all month

Dl'ed my google + takeout .zip of my videos and pics from my phone. So, 6.5gb split into 3 zips. Took about an hour on 1 bar of 4g. I imagine transfer speed was more a result of Google's servers rather than how much signal I had.
