My toggle works just fine. Lost my SQL files and the Entitlement check is turned on. Need to regain Root. I should have done more research before hitting "Update". Now I need to find where the bounty is listed. I'll give $20 to the dev that can get my Maxx rooted.

I did understand you. You're thinking a widget will bypass the check, it does not.
I already have a widget shortcut. For posterity, I downloaded the widget you suggested. It does the exact same thing(one touch tethering shortcut) as the tethering widget I had. Unfortunately, it also fails the bypass the entitlement check. After all, it's just a widget.
I need either root or a FoxFi update.
Or, heaven forbid, pony up $30 a month to pay Verizon for Hotspotting.

" and yes, Kingo is safe. Issue before was that kingo was using vroot method, which contrained sniffers for imei and serials. Once kingo caught wind of it, they released a new version excluding said code, which is why they have complied with XDA requirements and all threads re-opened."
