Kit Kat on new Droid Maxx or Kit Kat features at least issues

I have installed some Kit Kat features into my Droid Maxx and noticed the Hangouts SMS doesn't work with non hangout members. The search doesn't work as well. I think it is buggy until they make official release for each phone.
