Keys lighting up?

When I set my phone down sometimes, my soft keys (home hey, menu key, back key and search key) will all light up, like I got a message or something when I don't... Is there anything going on with my phone, or with any app I have doing this? I've tried killing my apps before I turn the screen off, I've tried not killing the apps. Nothing changes it. It's completely random when it does it...

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Mine does it all of the time. I just hit lock button to turn on the screen and then again to turn it off. Assuming you have a stock DInc

Yeah, my dinc is stock. I just want to make sure it's not oolong my battery any further... Seeing as I already have terrible battery life as is... Lol

Totally normal. Don't know why it happens, but rest assured that it happens to many people's phones.

Soft key lights are tied in with the auto brightness feature...
