I have an issue with entering numeric data on a Droid 3 when I'm on a call and working my way through automated services. The X for backspace that is on the dialpad disappears when I'm on the call. As I work my way through menu options wherever I'm calling (1 for English, 2 for tech support, etc.) those numbers stay on the dialpad. So when it's time to enter something like an account number those numbers from the navigation sequence become part of the account number, which does no good.
Is there a way to delete those nav numbers so I can enter my data cleanly?
