Keyboard won't work?

I am running CyanogenMod 7 on my phone. About a week ago, my phone started doing weird stuff. First, I can barely slide the unlock slider because it seems like part of my touch screen doesn't work. Furthermore, when I do manage to unlock it, the "E", "S", and "Z" keys don't work on my keyboard. I have no clue how to fix this! If you have any idea as to what's going on, PLEASE let me know.

Can you give some specfics on what version of cm87 and what kernal your running?

Also, the keyboard works fine if I have it in landscape. It doesn't work in portrait.
