key board is freezing!

my droid x2 is on my last nerve! I have had it a little over a month and a couple weeks ago the keyboard started freezing up when I hit the period button and now it does it when I hit the space bar! starting to think I should have stood my ground when the guy at verizon talked me out of the iphone 4!:icon_evil:

try this. menu/settings/applications/manage apps/tab on all/click on multi touch keyboard and clear data.
