Only changes are to acpulock-7x30.c , no additional credits/copyrights were in the header of the one I worked off of. If you had a hand it it, let me know so we both can fix that.

So you are only able to do this on stock rom?...

I would imagine you could use it on any sense based rom

EDIT: I stand corrected, this is for the STOCK FROYO ROM ONLY! It won't hurt your phone to try but users have tested and confirmed they can't get past the HTC splash screen. I will edit the OP with this information.
