Keep MIUI from changing icon background colors?

I've been working on my own themed icon backgrounds. I basically took the stock MIUI background and made it a little transparent, and blanked out the pattern. Only problem I'm having is that MIUI is still adding colors to the backgrounds. How to I prevent that?
