Keep Droid X from going to sleep when using certain apps

when I am using my navigation or last fm or pandora is there a way to keep the screen from going to black and locking, kinda pain in the ass to have to slide the unlock everytime i want to change tracks

Screebl is a good app...however, when it is docked, you can use the phone's settings for display as well (set to never timeout).
