K9 Mail question

I get a lot errors in my k9mail-error folder

1. How can I delete them all at once
2. Is deleting the all as once the same as expunge, if not what is expunge?

Thanks

I haven't seen Expunge, but here's how I delete.
I go into in the Error folder, then Menu>Batch Options, select all>Delete

Go to your folder list then to the error tab open options click batch ops hit select all then hit delete, they will all be moved to your trash do same to completely remove

1. Hit Menu and select batch ops. Select All. Then Delete. Same as other folders.

2. Frankly, I've never been able to figure out exactly how "expunge" works. My assumption has been that "delete" sends emails to the trash folder while "expunge" skips that step and simply deletes them. If that logic holds, then "deleting" from the "Trash" folder should be identical to "expunging."

But I've never been able to clearly confirm that's the case.
