Congrats and welcome to the BIONIC cult!! You will love this phone!! And if the VZW gods are kind in your area, you will love the blazing 4G data connectivity, as well!!

Dont forget to remove the annoying verizon brand on bottom. Makes phone that much sexier.

Yes I've actually been on 4g since I got it today and got it hooked up. Thanks for the welcome to the bionic.

Talking about the verizon logo on bottom right side of chrome. U take a penny and use the edge to rub off logo. Comes right off without leaving scratches. Sounds crazy but it works

I'm with you all the way, Deduct. I purchased my Bionic just a couple of days after it came out in September. Except for a couple of glitches it works great! I, too, have thought of rooting my phone, but I know of far too many people who have done so that have suffered major problems afterwards and could not get back to their original configuration. Unless you really have a compelling reason to root your phone it is best to leave it stock. The only change I have made to my phone is replacing the original launcher with Go Launcher. My phone is now almost perfect...and I am leaving it that way.

I did end up rooting my bionic. I havnt installed a ROM yet but it is rooted and de bloated. It was real easy to do. Read about it before you do it if you decide to.

If u like trying other launchers you might try spb shell 3d. I have tried just about all of them and this one is by far my favorite. It is expensive at $15, but it has some awesome features that make it well worth the price. Remember you can be refunded within 15 minutes if u don' t like. After playing with it for just a few minutes i was hooked.
