jumbled mess

I needed to replace my s5 with another because of a defect and only some of my photos were on the SD card. I transfered from the old phone to my laptop before I returned the defective one.
Question:
What is the easiest way to move the pics from my laptop to my phone?
...also It seems like many pics from many smartphones later my pics are jumbled and mis-dated:
What is the easiest way to organize all of my pics and return them to a reasonably close order?

I personally never worry about any of my photos. Any time I get connected to WiFi they all upload to DropBox automatically. That make them available on all my computers that have that DropBox account installed.

As for organizing them I'm not 100% on what you need/want but try QuickPic from the Google Store to see if there are display and sort options you need,.
