Jellybean update: Can it be rooted?

I have to flash back to stock 4.0.4 to manually apply new Jellybean update. I've tried via OTA Rootkeeper, but I get a "sideload" error. Can the new JB update be rooted using Razr'sEdge or some other method?

Seems like there's always some lag between the new software releases and the brilliant people who come up with the rooting methods to get something available for the rest of us who don't know anything about programing...I know it's hard to be patient!

To answer your question no you can't. If you didn't keep root with ota or something similar then your sol. Sorry. Like spud said just be patient . Soon

To update this thread, root for jb on bionic is now published. It uses Linux and a Samba share, so it's not a download the file, click run and away it goes, but many have used the new method with success, including me. There's even a YouTube vid!
