itunes to sd card???

I am trying to copy my I tune library to my SD card in my RAZR Max.
I opened iTunes on my laptop open songs.
Open my computer on laptop SD card shows, I then click on my songs and drag to SD card.
Nothing copies.
Am I leaving something out? Does the SD card have to be formated and if so how?

I used an app called Easy Phone Tunes. Transferred all my iTunes playlists flawlessly

Or DoubleTwist will work. The problem is those songs that are copy protected. In that case, you can burn the songs to cd and the copy will be without DRM.

Or you can use a program like Audial (which has a complicated interface which proved unusable for me.)

Which is why I hate iTunes and will NEVER buy anything that needs it.
